For our first trip, we went to a movie theater in Newark (CityPlex 12) and watched The Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. II. The movie was pretty amazing, even thought I never watched The Guardians of the Galaxy I.
The movie begin with Peter Quill trying to make a friendship with his biological father, Ego, on a planet of his own design. Ego tells all kinds of stories to his son and his friends on how he created the planet that they are on, Peter Quill´s friends, especially Gamora, smelled a rat. She knew that something bad was going on. Later, Quill's father reveals to his son that he killed his wife, then the conflict started between the two of them, plus the friends too. With the help of Vondu (Quill's adopted dad) they were able to defeat his father and they became heroes, but Vondu died in the process.
After the movie, some guys got a chance to play arcade games. It was a great first field trip!
