Imperial Dragon Hombu Dojo

Today was our second trip. We went to visit the Shorinjiryu Imperial Dragon Hombu Dojo (Hombu means Headquarters) in Brooklyn, New York. We started our journey early in the morning at 9:30 am. We had to connect with two trains to get there.
Upon our arrival, we were welcomed by Hanshi Myron Lubitsch, who is the president of Shorinjiryu Martial Arts in North America. He was happy to see us and we were honored as well.
After greeting each other, we warmed up for a workout. With the warm up completed, we pushed through the tough workout and I was able to learn how to punch correctly. A whole lot of the techniques were difficult but like Sensei Riley has taught us to push through even when it´s not so easy.
